Organization plans
Organizations use the same plan types as individuals — Gateway and BYOK — billed per billable seat. Each organization has its own subscription, managed by the organization owner.
Per-seat pricing
Organization plans mirror individual plan names and pricing, applied per billable member:

Non-billable members are not charged and cannot use chat, tools, or API Access. See Members, roles & invites.
How to subscribe
- Create an organization and invite members (Create & manage an organization).
- Ensure at least one billable seat exists (the default for new invites).
- As organization owner, open Settings → Organizations → [organization name] and choose Subscribe for Gateway or BYOK.
- Complete checkout. The seat count at checkout becomes the initial subscription quantity.
You do not subscribe at organization creation. Set up members first, then pay when the organization is ready.
Gateway organizations: System Gateway pool
On Gateway organization plans, paid seats × budget-per-seat form a zero-sum System Gateway pool for the billing period. Admins allocate that money mass across billable members and API allocation in Settings → Budgets. Chat and API Access share the same Budgets rules for each subject × provider instance.
When someone joins mid-period with a billable seat, the pool enlarges after prorated payment succeeds; admins then allocate the additional mass.
BYOK organizations
BYOK organization plans charge per billable seat for platform access. Inference costs go to your provider accounts. Every member who chats or uses the API still needs a billable seat, including on BYOK.
Configure providers and routing once for the organization in Settings → Providers and Settings → Routing policy while the organization is active.
Changing seats and plans
- Add or remove billable members — subscription quantity updates automatically; Stripe prorates charges or credits.
- Change plan (Gateway ↔ BYOK) — organization owner opens Manage billing in organization settings (Stripe billing portal).
- Cancel — through the billing portal; access continues until the paid period ends unless canceled immediately by support.

Individual plan vs organization plan
Your Individual subscription and any organization subscriptions are independent. Switching context in the organization switcher changes which plan and Budgets apply. An Individual Gateway subscription does not cover colleagues on an unsubscribed organization.
