Deployment options
Steinkauz is available in two deployment models. Individuals and organizations can start immediately in the hosted public cloud. Enterprises with infrastructure, identity, or data-sovereignty requirements can arrange a private cloud or on-premises deployment directly with Steinkauz.
Public cloud
The hosted public cloud is the self-service option for individuals and organizations.
- Steinkauz operates and updates the service.
- Every user starts in Personal (Individual) context and can create or join organizations.
- Plans are purchased online for an individual or per billable organization member.
- Organization owners and admins manage provider, routing, tool, file, and API settings for their workspace.

Private cloud and on-premises
Private cloud and on-premises deployments are tailored for enterprises that need Steinkauz in an organization-controlled environment.
Typical reasons include:
- Keeping application data and storage within your own infrastructure
- Integrating with your organization’s identity provider and single sign-on
- Meeting internal security, network, or data-residency requirements
- Operating a dedicated Steinkauz environment for your organization
These deployments are not self-service purchases. Scope, infrastructure, identity integration, operations, and commercial terms are agreed directly with Steinkauz.

Deployment vs provider environment
A Steinkauz deployment option describes where the Steinkauz application and its data services run.
A provider execution environment describes where an AI provider processes an inference request. These are separate choices: for example, a public-cloud Steinkauz organization can connect to a customer-hosted AI provider, while an on-premises Steinkauz deployment can use whichever providers its organization permits.
