Members, roles & invites
Membership and roles control who can invite people, change settings, manage billing, and audit organization usage. Inviting members does not change Cloud pricing.
Roles

*Admins cannot promote members to owner or demote owners.
Inviting with the right role
When sending an invite, choose the lowest role that fits:
- Member: colleagues who will chat
- Admin: people who configure providers and routing policy
- Owner: people who will manage billing (only owners can subscribe and open the billing portal)
You can change roles after someone joins, subject to the permission rules above.
Configuration Audit
Invite, member-removal, and role changes appear in Settings → Configuration Audit (and as five recent events on the Organization page). Stripe plan and billing-portal changes are not recorded there. See Configuration Audit.
Conversation visibility
In organizations, conversations are private by default. Each member (including owners and admins) sees only their own threads in the sidebar. There is no shared organization inbox of other members’ chats.
Organization owners and admins oversee usage through Usage & Activity: filter by member, review costs and inference metadata. Owners can also open prompt/message content and open a member’s chat by id from that audit flow. Admins see metadata only (no titles, prompts, or Open chat for other members).
Explicit share links are still the way to show a conversation to someone who is not an organization member, or to share a read-only view without owner content audit.
