This page covers Steinkauz Cloud, the self-service EU-region SaaS.
Steinkauz Cloud
- Who pays: one monthly organization entitlement. A tenant may have one member or many. There is no personal plan and no per-seat charge.
- How inference runs: BYOK (your provider keys; you pay providers directly). Steinkauz AI does not resell inference.
Tokens, requests, and bytes are usage telemetry and Cloud service limits, not a token invoice.

BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)
With BYOK, you add your own API keys for the providers you want. You pay those providers directly; Steinkauz AI does not bill you for inference. You need an active Cloud subscription to use the product. BYOK stays uncapped by Steinkauz AI until you set optional Budgets in Settings → Budgets.
Included: Choose which supported providers to enable, set an execution environment on each, configure your routing matrix, and use Auto or Manual sensitivity per chat.

What Cloud includes, and what it does not
Cloud is the policy layer. It is not an inference reseller and not a tools marketplace.
