Audit logs

Steinkauz records selected administrative changes so organization owners and admins can review who changed what and when. Audit logs complement Usage, costs, and activity details, which focus on inference and tool usage.

Where to find audit logs

Audit history appears on the settings pages where changes are made:

AreaSettings pathWhat is logged
Data routingSettings → Routing policyMatrix edits, default sensitivity changes
ToolsSettings → Native ToolsNative Tool enable/disable, backends, and policy changes
Inference providersSettings → ProvidersProvider configuration changes

Open the relevant settings page and scroll to the audit log section. Ensure the context you want to review is active in the organization switcher.

Who can view audit logs

In organizations, owners and admins can view audit logs for organization-wide settings they manage. Members do not see administrative audit history.

In Personal context, you see audit logs for your own configuration changes.

What audit logs do not include

Audit logs track policy and configuration changes, not every chat message or inference request. For model activity, token usage, and tool invocations, use Usage & Activity (Inference and Tools tabs).
