Deployment options
Steinkauz AI is available in two deployment models.
- Steinkauz Cloud: EU-region shared SaaS, hosted by Steinkauz AI. One organization tenant (one or many members). You connect your own inference accounts.
- Private Deployment: customer-hosted in your data centre or your own cloud account, arranged with Steinkauz AI, when the policy layer itself must sit inside your boundary.
Shared Cloud is EU-region hosted. It is not a sovereign cloud. Stronger operator or jurisdiction requirements need Private Deployment. Where Steinkauz AI runs is not where a model runs.

Steinkauz Cloud
Cloud is the self-service option for organizations.
- Steinkauz AI operates and updates the service on EU-region infrastructure.
- You work in an organization tenant. A single member is enough; invite others when you need them.
- Inference is your providers (BYOK). Steinkauz AI does not resell model access.
- Organization owners and admins manage provider, routing, file, and API settings for the tenant.

Private Deployment
Private Deployment is for organizations that need Steinkauz AI in an environment they control. Steinkauz AI does not operate a managed private cloud on your behalf, and it does not broker inference inside that install.
Typical reasons include:
- Keeping application data and storage within your own infrastructure
- Integrating with your organization’s identity provider and single sign-on
- Meeting internal security, network, or residency requirements
- Operating a dedicated Steinkauz AI environment for your organization
These deployments are not self-service purchases. Scope, infrastructure, identity integration, operations, and commercial terms are agreed directly with Steinkauz AI.

Deployment vs provider environment
A Steinkauz AI deployment option describes where the Steinkauz AI application and its data services run.
A provider execution environment describes where an AI provider processes an inference request. These are separate choices: for example, a Cloud organization can connect to a customer-hosted AI provider, while a Private Deployment can use whichever providers its organization permits.
